Born in California on July 8, 1913. Johnson graduated from UCLA about 1930 and continued living in Los Angeles until her marriage to Swedish importer, Sven Rahmas, in 1943. She then moved to Little Neck, NY where she designed and wrote children's books. She died in Charlotteville, NY on Sept. 4, 1995.
