Born in Kentucky on Nov. 16, 1899. Arnett began her art studies at Otis Institute in Los Angeles in 1919. During the 1920s she had a commercial art studio in Los Angeles and then turned to ceramics. She later married a man named Penner and established a kiln in her home in Fontana, CA where she was active until her demise on May 17, 1977.
