Born in log cabin in Ohio on May 28, 1895. Eva studied at the University of Ohio prior to her marriage to Henry Hice in 1927. At that time she moved to southern California. She lived in Newport Beach and for 30 years taught art in the public schools of San Marino and surrounding districts. She died in Redwood City, CA on Aug. 30, 1988.
