Born in Westerville, NE on May 23, 1895. Hornaday was a graduate of the College of the Pacific in San Jose and USC. After 1919 she taught art in the California public schools of Fillmore, Delano, Hughson, Fortuna, and Santa Cruz. Her married name was Jasper at the time of her death in Santa Clara County, CA on Oct. 20, 1991.
