Born in Honolulu, HI on Oct. 11, 1890. Gilman studied at the CCAC. After settling on the Monterey Peninsula about 1925, she became active in the local art scene. A spinster, she died in Carmel, CA on Aug. 24, 1981. Working in oil and watercolor, she produced landscapes, coastal scenes, and still lifes which she signed "CAG."
