Born in Griswold, IA on Feb. 16, 1909. Graham moved with his family to southern California in 1916. After graduation from Whittier High School, he studied painting with Millard Sheets while attending
Frank Wiggins Trade School in Los Angeles. From 1926 until 1945 he painted many plein-air landscapes of Mammoth Lakes, Lone Pine, and San Gabriel Valley, both in oil and watercolor. After 1950 he ran an advertising company in Los Angeles. Graham died in Whittier on Jan. 30, 1998.
