Forrest F. Hudson was born in Minnesota on June 3, 1895. Following service in WWI, Hudson settled in Long Beach, CA in 1921. The owner of a costume company, he painted in his leisure. During the 1930s he was an active in the local art scene. His work includes scenes of the area around Long Beach. His death there on April 2, 1959 was a suicide.
