Cedric Marshall was born in Browns Valley, MN in 1890. He was in the San Francisco Bay area by the end of WWI. He graduated from the California College of Arts & Crafts in 1920. While at that school, he often partied and painted with the Society of Six. After moving to NYC, he was an illustrator and interior designer until his demise in 1946.
