Charles S. Rawles was active/lived in New Mexico, New Jersey.  Charles Rawles is known for landscape and Indian painting.

Biography   Charles S. Rawles

A high school teacher and artist, Charles Rawles was born in New Jersey about 1871 and by 1920 was living in Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico, and by 1930 was living in Santa Fe. He married Ninetta Partch in Detroit, Michigan but was widowed from her.

He died in San Francisco in 1932.

His work is in the Museum of New Mexico, Santa and the Santa Fe Public Library.

He exhibited three New Mexico themed painting in 1921 at the Museum of New Mexico.
