Barbara May Weber was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 3,
1923. She reportedly displayed a creative talent from a very young age.
With her mother and younger sister, Barbara moved to California in 1937
where she soon began her formal artistic studies. For many years she
maintained a studio in Laguna Beach where she taught small classes. Her
work includes character studies, clowns, nudes, and scenes of Spain.
Barbara married late in life to an artist's model, and as of early 2011,
she and her husband were living in Desert Hot Springs, California.
