Corinne Coburn Donley Schneider was born in Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 21, 1895. Corinne Donley advertised as an artist in the Los Angeles City Directory in 1917. In that year she married Lt. Leon Schneider and for ten years lived at various army bases. Upon the death of her husband in Berkeley in 1927, she resumed her art career. Locally, she studied at the CCAC and the Advertising School of Art in San Francisco. During the 1930s she produced many etchings of local subjects. Mrs. Schneider died in Berkeley, CA on Jan. 23, 1958.
