Mary B. Sheridan was born in St Louis, MO in 1917. Sheridan moved to Laguna Beach as a child. During the 1920s she studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles and then taught commercial art at that school for many years. In the late 1930s she established a graphic design business in Los Angeles.
