Paul Gustav Sprunck was born in Baltimore, MD on Oct. 8, 1892. Sprunck settled in Los Angeles in 1908. During the mid-1920s he was active there as a member of the Modern Artists. For 50 years he worked as an artist for the motion picture studios. Considered one of the finest miniature craftsmen in the industry, he was well known for his technical effects using miniatures. He died at his home in Los Angeles at 631 Pheasant Drive on July 8, 1963.
