Henry (H.C.) Wildermuth (died October 10, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio)
A native of Mount Corey, Ohio (birth date unknown), he lived in Toledo for 60 years. He was the owner of the Blaine-Wildermuth Piano Company for 35 years where he exhibited his own works and the works of other Toledo artists. The group of artist were know as the "Art Klan" where Mr. Wildermuth was the president on three occasions. He was a member of the Toledo Arts Club. There is no evidence Mr. Wildermuth received any formal training and was self taught. He studied with Karl Kappes, Fritz Boehmer, T. J. Keane, Jess DeViney and Frank Wilcox, all of Ohio and were likely members of the "Art Klan."
