Sally Ward was born in Montana in 1909. Ward moved to Palm Springs, CA in 1973. Working in oil and watercolor,
she painted impressionist landscapes and floral still lifes. She was a
member of the Palm Springs Desert Art Center and often accompanied
Darwin Duncan and Karl Albert on painting excursions into the desert
around her home. She moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2006 and died there on
November 16, 2010.
