Edith Luella Miller was born in Ogden, IA on Sept. 5, 1889. Miller was educated at Drake University. She was active in Perry, IA until moving to southern California where she was a pupil of Henry Richter. A spinster, she died in Long Beach on March 22, 1949. Her work includes portraits, landscapes, and genre.
