Rockwell Smith Brank was born in Missouri on July 18, 1875. Brank was a lawyer in St Louis in 1900-10 and a minister in a Presbyterian Church in Summit, New Jersey in 1920-30. Shortly thereafter, he settled in Riverside, California and died there on February 23, 1947. His rare works include scenes of the California coast and Alaska. Exhibited: Society of Western Artists, 1949.
