Avanelle Moore was born in Stockton, CA on Sept. 29, 1905. Avanelle Moore studied art in Europe during the 1930s. At that time her married name was Beasley; during her last 30 years her name was Bradley. A resident of her native city until 1958, she then settled in Watsonville, CA where for 40 years she taught small classes in china painting. The artist died there in Dec. 1, 1998. Her work includes miniature and full-size portraits.
