Kathleen Cotton Morris was born in San Antonio, TX on Jan. 2, 1905, the daughter of artist Leo Cotton. About 1924 Kathleen moved to California and married artist George Stanley. After her divorce, she married Stanley Morris. After studying at Otis Art Institute she worked for many years as an artist for the federal government. Mrs. Morris lived in Sacramento until shortly before her death in Larkspur, CA on June 5, 1996.
