Isabelle Morrison was born in San Francisco, CA in Dec. 1, 1869. Morrison was raised in San Francisco and began her art studies locally at the ASL. During the 1890s she had a studio at 621 Clay Street and later was an art teacher in the public schools of San Francisco and Oakland. She was a close friend of artist Bertha Stringer Lee for whom she was maid of honor at Lee's wedding in 1894. Isabelle married artist Addison Niles in 1896. She died in her native city on June 18, 1954.
