Babette Bloch received both classical and modern training, including study with Wayne Thiebaud, Robert Arneson, Deborah Butterfield and Manuel Neri. For fifteen years, she experimented with sculpture's various mediums, combining traditional clay, plaster, and bronze with acrylic paints, and her unique sensibility. She was always committed to creating a personal style that could embrace her eclectic tastes, her sometimes-whimsical visions and her technical curiosity. In discovering laser-cut technology and how it can be used to transform stainless steel, she had found her medium.
