Joseph Bodner was born in Florence, New Jersey on January 16, 1925. After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, Bodner moved to Pasadena to study at Art Center College of Design.
He specialized in illustrations of the vanishing West and white stallions.
He died on May 28, 1982 and was buried in Culver City, California.
