Bibliography; Stereopticon Illustrated Lectures
Another dimension to Charles Henry Breed's career was his conversion of his photographs to Stereopticon Lantern Slides and his presenting of Illustrated Lectures to large audiences. Clearly, this was an important early teaching tool. Also, Dr. Breed would travel around the country, on behalf of The Lawrenceville School, showing his work to Alumni and other business groups. These "Smokers" as they where called were an early form of Marketing. Only now are we learning about this as newspapers come online from that period.
