Henry Rynders was born in Holland on May 6, 1904. A medical doctor, Rynders appears to have left Holland when the Nazis occupied his homeland during WWII. He taught anatomy at Columbia University before moving to southern California. He spent some time in Spain in 1972. Dr. Rynders died in San Diego, CA on February 8, 1979.
