Biography Carl Kohler
Carl Kohler was a Swedish neo-Modernist painter who lived from 1919 to 2006. After WWII, Kohler’s works were mainly in the form of abstract figure drawings and paintings. In the late 1940’s and early 1950’s Kohler attended the Swedish Royal Art Academy and the Academy de la Grande in Paris, France. He later expanded his knowledge at the Swedish Royal Academy, in Canada and the United States.
Kohler has exhibited many of his works in museums throughout Sweden but also the United States and Canada.
