Biography Van Noble
Of Van Noble, it was written that "Her marines and seascapes capture the color of the Keys' water as her street scenes capture the essence of Key West during the Happy Days era." Her son, Art Noble wrote a biography of his mother, who died in 1998 and in the book, The Life and Works of V. Noble, she was described as the "consummately afflicted artist, hardly ever going out." Although she was apparently not given to socializing in her community of Key West, she was obviously much influenced by her geographical surroundings and its inhabitants.
