Corennah Wilson Wright was born in Vacaville, California in 1857. About 1885 Corennah married Edward C. Wright and settled in San Francisco. She lived there until about 1930 and then moved to Alhambra, CA. She died while vacationing in Yokohama, Japan in 1934. Her painting subjects include scenes of Ceylon, Burma, Switzerland, Cairo, and Yosemite.
