Beatrix Maureen McCulley was born in New York on March 10, 1899. Beatrix was the daughter of author and Zorro creator, Arthur Johnston McCulley. She moved to Palm Springs, CA in the 1960s and Became active with the Desert Art Center. She was active in the art scene there until her demise on August 12, 1983.
