Edwin E. Frank was born in Minnesota on January 4, 1912. Frank had settled in Riverside, California by the early 1930s.
Assisted by Pauline Hirst, he painted a mural of the history of San Gorgonio Pass in the Banning (CA) High School library for the Federal Art Project in 1939. He died in Riverside on June 26, 1956.
