Biography Lorenzo Garaventa
Lorenzo Garaventa studied first at the Ligurian Academy of Fine Arts and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He exhibited at the Venice Biennale (1948, 1950 and 1954) and the Quadrennial in Rome (1948 and 1953). In 1992, an anthology devoted Genoa at the Museum of St. Augustine.
Since 1995 we organize the spaces in the building in Via Ravaschieri in Chiavari, home to the Museo Garaventa, namely the collection of works by the sculptor donated to the Economic Society of Chiavari (sculptures, plasters, drawings).
