Biography Charles Miner
Charles Miner began his career as a glass artist in 1974. The following year he purchased land in rural New Mexico that was part of an artist commune in the 1960s. There was a huge chicken coop on the property and it was quite an adventure for Charles to gut it and transform it into a glass studio. By 1990, the complex evolved into a hot glass and casting facility, a school with an apprentice program, and today it affords studio and gallery space for not only Charles but seven other glass artists as well.
