Spitta, Gertrud (Berlin 12-01-1881 - 12-10-1967 Stuttgart)
Painter and graphic artist. Daughter of Berlin architect and high ranking buildings official Max Spitta (Lissa-Posen 1842-1902 Berlin) commissioned by emperor Wilhelm-II to supervise the building of the Siegerallee in Berlin Tiergarten park. He was a nephew to landscape and marine painter Theodor Spitta (1823-1908).
She studied in Berlin with Hans Licht (1876-1935) and Ernst Kolbe (1876-1945) and in Munich in the Heymanschule with modernist Hans Hoffmann (1880-1966).
Travels to the Netherlands in 1925 and 1927 painting the Amsterdam flower market and the residence of emperor in exile Wilhelm-II (1859-1941):
