Biography Joseph Lauber
An immigrant from Germany to the United States in 1864, Joseph Lauber became a noted muralist, stained glass designer whose clients included Tiffany's of New York, and teacher at Columbia University.
His work is in numerous churches and institutions including Trinity Church in New York City and the House of Representatives in Washington DC. Exhibition venues included the Chicago Exposition of 1893, the Paris Salon, and the National Academy of Design.
