Adolf Oberlander was born in 1845. He was a draftsman, painter, and caricaturist.
In 1861, the artist studied at the Munich academy with Hermann Anschütz and Carl von Piloty. In 1863, he worked as a draftsman, and employees of Munich "Fliegende Blatter", which quickly won him popularity.
In 1869, he was also a designer of "Munich broadsheet". In 1879, he designed an edition of the "Oberlander album".
Adolf Oberlander passed away in 1923.
