Miniature painter. Born in Dresden, Germany on Nov. 7, 1872. Alice was the daughter and pupil of Julius Ludovici. She moved to the U.S. with her father as an infant and lived in NYC until 1889. Upon moving to California at that time, she lived in San Francisco briefly before settling in Pasadena. She died there on April 6, 1957. Her specialty was miniature portraits, both on ivory and in pastels. Exh: Alaska-Yukon Expo (Seattle), 1909 (silver medal); Calif. Society of Mm.
