President of the New York Society of Women Artists, Dorothy Feigin was a student at the Art Students League of John Sloan and George Luks. Among her exhibition venues were the Society of Independent Artists, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the National Academy of Design, and the Carnegie Institute.
