The first one-man show in the U.S. of the works of Egon Adler, the "forgotten man" of the early German expressionist movement, will be on view at Goethe House, 1014 Fifth Avenue, January 7 through February 15, 1964.
Adler, who was born 1892 in Karlsbad, famous Bohemian spa, and died February 22, 1963 in New York, was closely associated with and influenced by such early Munich expressionists as Franz Marc, August Macke, and Alexej von Jawlensky.
