Frank Waller

Born in New York City, Frank Waller was a painter and architect. He studied at the New York Free Academy and at the Art Students League with William Merritt Chase. He was a founder and president of the Art Students League and exhibited there from 1870 to 1887 as well as the Pennsylvania Academy and the Boston Art Club.

He traveled extensively including to Egypt where he made many studies for future work. He also painted in Venice, other parts of Italy, upper New York state, New Hampshire, and Bermuda.
