Fred George Vogt

 Born in Portland, OR on Nov. 22, 1894.  Following service in the Marines during WWI, Vogt was a letter engraver at Schmidt Lithograph  in San Francisco.  He lived nearby in San Carlos and was fatally injured by an automobile while walking home on the night of April 23, 1931.
