Babbitt was born in Indiana in August of 1878. Attended the Lewis Academy in Wichita, a predecessor of Fairmount College and Wichita State Univ. Also attended the Cincinnati Art Institute. Lived in Hutchinson in 1900 and in Larned in 1904. Lived in Colfax, NM in 1910 and at 320 N. Yale in Wichita in 1943. Died in Little Rock, Arkansas 1951.
