Biography  
Glen Tracy


Glen Tracy was born in Hudson, Michigan, Jan 24 1883.  He died in Sarasota, Florida April 1956.  He studied with Frank Duveneck at the Art Academy of Cincinnati for most of 1899-1910.  Tracy also taught at the Art Academy during the 1909-1910 school year and off and on for some years
following.

Glen Tracy became a published illustrator when he provided six full page drawings for a book based on the medieval legend Aucassin and Nicolete.  This was the first publication for Fleuron Press and the edition was limited to 500 numbered copies.
  
Glen Tracy enjoyed traveling and painting new sites. Before 1924, he had painted in Canada, Colorado, Cuba, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mi  ...  Displaying 750 of 1386 characters.
