HARRIETTE A. CLARK (March 4, 1876 – April 18, 1921)
Miniature, oil, and china painter. Born in De Pere, Brown County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Emily J. Priest (1842 – 1899) and Ellery C. Clark (1839 – 1918). Her father was a hub and spoke manufacturer in De Pere (and later in Ironton, Missouri) who had developed and patented a “hub turning machine” in the late 1870s.
