Leon Rourssel Bardelle

Born in Limoges in 1865, Léon Roussel-Bardelle began her studies at the École des Beaux-Arts in Limoges before being sent by the latter as a resident of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
At the beginning of the 1890s, the Limoges City Council ordered a statue of Denis Dussoubs for one of the main squares in the city, a statue inaugurated on 24 April 1892.
He regularly exhibited at the Salon des Independants from 1908 to 1913.
