Biography  
Lewis Croft


He studied with M. Denton-Burgess in Vancouver, British Columbia, and William S. Schwartz in Chicago, Illinois.  Awards: Best of Show, Sunshine Art Fest. Fla., 1958; Best Oil, Mystic, Conn. 1962-64; Grand Prize Gold Medal, Washington Sq. Outdoor Art Show, New York, 1965.  Work: Swope Art Gallery, IN.; Parrish Art Museum, N.Y.; Art Bank of N.S.; Maritime Art Assn.; N.C. Museum of Art, Elliott Museum, Fla.; Art Gallery of N.S.; many others.
