I am the first born son of Loran F. Wilford, December 7, 1921. My father was born September 13, 1882, Wamego Kansas, died on December 5, 1972 at Sarasota Florida. Interment was at the Wamego City Cemetery, Wamego KS; the euology was given by Col. "pic" Diller, retired, (Aid to General Macarthur).
My father's studio in Stamford CT, of many years, is now used as an apartment, with the property in family possession. He was a magazine illustrator in the 30s and again in the 40s and taught art, mostly watercolor, at Ringling School Of Art at Sarasota FL, for 33 years.
