Chase, Mary M. (Pope)   (1861-1921)

Chase, Mary M., landscapes in oils and water colors; born in Indianapolis, March, 1861; daughter of Abner James and Peninnah Mills Pope; studied at the Art Institute (Chicago); married Timothy chase (1886). 

Exhibited at the Chicago Art Institute, Omaha 1898 Trans Mississippi Exposition.; Nashville (Tenn.) Exposition, and at Toledo, Ohio. Is represented in the Evanston Woman’s Club.  Address, 421 Fox St., Aurora, Ill.
