Paul G. Babcock was active/lived in California, Oklahoma.  Paul Babcock is known for still life and desert scene painting, sculpture, mosaic murals.

Paul G. Babcock, painter, sculptor, muralist, mosaic artist was born in Oklahoma City, OK on July 15, 1905. He was best known for mosaic murals, portraits, still-life and desert scenes. 

When he was a youngster the family moved to Fort Worth TX, which later gave him the chance to attend the highly regarded Texas Christian University. 

By 1930 he had settled in Los Angeles where he married the mural painter Alberta von Ottenfeld.  He continued his art training at the Otis Art Institute of Los Angeles eventually taking his place on the Board of Governors for this Institute.

Because of his skills in mosaic and fresco painting, during the Depression he was employed on the Fede  ...  Displaying 750 of 1456 characters.
