Thomas Percy Earl (1874-1947)
was the son of a famous dog painter, named George Earl (1824-1908). Little is known about his life as a painter, since Earl seems to have been active mainly as a commissioned artist, without publicly exhibiting his own works. His clients included well-known personalities such as Lord Derby and Captain Boyd-Rochfort who trained horses of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. (cbo)
