Painter. Born in San Francisco, CA on May 18, 1914. Walton settled in Reno, NV in 1929. In 1934 he became interested in art through association with Jimmy Swinnerton and then studied at the CSFA and Chouinard School of Art in Los Angeles. He is now a resident of Virginia City, NV. Exh: Univ. of Chicago, 1936 (solo); CPLH, 1947; De Young Museum, 1950 (solo); Nevada Museum (Reno), 1993 (solo). In: Federal Court House, Reno (mural); NMAA; El Cortez Hotel, Las Vegas (mural); Buhi (ID) Post Office (mural). Invw; Nevada Historical Society Quarterly, 1990.
