Lorinc Farkas Csallóközi was born on January 18, 1898 in Lakszakallas, Hungary.  He studied at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts, the Baia Mare, in Paris at the Julian Academy and at the famed Kecskemét artists' colony under master painters Ferenczy, Zemplényi Theodore and Imre Revesz.

His work has been widely exhibited since 1918 and was often included in exhibitions held at the National Art Gallery.   His work can be found in the collections of state and capital, as well as the National Art Gallery and the Germanic Museum in Nuremberg.

In 1927 the City of Gyula commissioned him to organize an artist colony there.

It is unclear the exact date of his death.  He is listed as dying in 1944, 1966, 1969, and 1973.  Based on the degree of information listed for Dec 28, 1973 we chose that death date.
